What's it all about then?

It's all about the challenge!  The distances for the Vodacom Corporate Triathlon Challenge powered by Algoa FM are 10% of those for the Ironman; namely: 380m Swim, 18km Bike and 4.2km Run. The 2012 event will be hosted at Hobie Beach on Saturday, 21 April 2012, starting at 08:00.

Entries and Categories:

The following categories can be entered:

• Corporate Teams
• School Teams
• Individual (Male or Female)

Remember:

• Teams can consist of 2 to 3 members of any gender.
• The minimum age for individuals and team members is 14 years in 2012 (i.e. all people born in 1998 or earlier may enter)*.
• All disciplines must be completed - ie. one person must swim, another bike and another run in a 3-person team, while the 2-person team can divide the disciplines as they wish between the two team members.

* Each team member must be present and must sign the indemnity during the registration process. In case of under 18’s a parent/ legal guardian must be present for each minor to sign these forms. See the detailed event schedule for details on the registration dates and hours.

ALL entries close 30 March 2012!  NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED ON RACE DAY.

Prizes

The following Trophies are up for grabs:

• Trophies to each Corporate team finishing in First, Second and Third place.
• Trophies to each School team finishing in First, Second and Third place.
• Trophy to each individual female finishing in First, Second and Third place respectively.
• Trophy to each individual male finishing in First, Second and Third place respectively.
• Trophy PLUS R15 000 of Algoa FM airtime (excl Production, standard T&C) to the Corporate who enters the most teams.
• Trophy to the School who enters the most teams.
